SYRACUSE — The Syracuse University football team’s final home game of the season, against Louisville at noon on Saturday in the Carrier Dome, will be televised on ABC.

It will be the homecoming game and senior day for Syracuse (4-5 overall, 3-2 Big East), which needs to win two of its final three games to be eligible for a bowl game.

■ Syracuse senior safety Shamarko Thomas has been named to the Big East weekly honor roll after a career performance in Saturday’s loss to Cincinnati.

Thomas had 14 tackles and 10 solo tackles, both career highs. He also forced a fumble, his third in nine games.
