Terrah K. Frederick, 24, Adams Center, was charged Wednesday by state police with fourth-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records following an embezzlement investigation at Nice N Easy on Route 342.

She was released and ordered to appear in town of Pamelia Court for arraignment.

Police said an internal audit revealed that from Aug. 2 to Sept. 10 Ms. Frederick falsified business records to cover up the theft of more than $1,400 from the store, where she was employed.
