State police allege that a woman was drunk-driving with three children as passengers last Thursday evening when her car struck a utility pole along County Route 67 in the town of Watertown.
The arrest of Kjerstin L. Krohn, 36, of 17951 North Vanallen Road, on charges of felony aggravated driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child was disclosed Wednesday by state police.
She and one of her passengers, an 11-year-old girl, were taken to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment, police said. Two other children, a 7-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy, were not transported to the hospital, police said.
Driving drunk with a child passenger is a felony under Leandras Law. Mrs. Krohns blood alcohol content would have been determined with a blood test at the hospital.
