PLATTSBURGH — After falling behind early, the SUNY Plattsburgh women’s hockey team rallied with two, four-goal periods and routed SUNY Potsdam 8-1 in an ECAC West game Tuesday night.

Emma Rutherford and Teal Gove each scored two goals for the Cardinals (4-0-1 overall, 3-0 conference). Jordan Caldwell, Caitlin Gilligan, Breanne Bennett and Melissa McIver also scored for the Cardinals.

Kakia Ashley scored for SUNY Potsdam (0-3, 0-1).
