GOUVERNEUR — Theron A. Pankey, 35, of 1121 Route 11, Lot 32, was charged by state police at 2:36 p.m. Wednesday with criminal contempt.

Mr. Pankey is accused of visiting Melissa Bonnell, who holds an order of protection against him.

He was taken to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, and held without bail.
