POTSDAM — A pair of teens were charged with petit larceny at 8:22 p.m. Friday.

Troopers charged Cody A. Lane, 18, of St. Regis Falls and Codi J. Church, 17, of Dickinson Center.

Troopers allege the pair were attempting to steal sunglasses and a cellphone case from Walmart.

They were both released on appearance tickets.
