MASSENA The owner of a downtown dry cleaning shop said he wants his customers to know that hell be open for business as usual today, despite a small fire that caused minor damage to the building Saturday night.
There was no damage to any customer garments within the building, said Ken Cornell, who owns and operates Cornells Dry Cleaning at 54 Willow St. As a precaution, all of the garments will be reprocessed.
In a statement released Sunday morning, Mr. Cornell said the building sustained minor damage as a result of the fire.
The fire was contained to the front exterior of the building and was caused by a short circuit in the exterior sign, he said.
