COPENHAGEN — State police on Saturday charged Casimer W. Bigda, 33, Lowville, with second-degree criminal contempt and disorderly conduct.

Mr. Bigda was accused of violating an order of protection issued on behalf of his estranged wife, Shannon Bigda, at 10171 Washington St. in Copenhagen.

He is to answer the charges in Denmark Town Court.
