POTSDAM Adrienne Walker provided two kills during a four-point run to end the fifth and final set, leading the third-seeded Clarkson University women past No. 4 New Paltz, 26-24, 30-32, 20-25, 25-10, 15-13, in the NCAA New York Regional Championship match Sunday at Alumni Gymnasium.
The Golden Knights (31-6) advanced to the NCAA Division III Championships, where they will meet Minnesota-St. Thomas in the quarterfinals next weekend at Hope College in Holland, Minn.
Clarkson, which trailed by two points before the game-endcing run, became the first Liberty League team to win a regional championship.
Walker was named the Regions Most Outstanding Player, finishing with 18 kills in the championship match.
Victoria Kirkemo generated 20 kills and 15 digs, Aishvina Arasu added 19 kills and 14 digs, and Lani Durio delivered 57 assists and 22 digs for the Golden Knights.
