Nicole A. Dimock, 36, of 60 Trout Lake St., Edwards, pleaded guilty Tuesday in St. Lawrence County Court to petit larceny and official misconduct, both Class A misdemeanors.
County Judge Jerome J. Richards released her on her own recognizance pending her March 3 sentencing.

Ms. Dimocks plea satisfied her original charges, including first-degree tampering with public records and third-degree grand larceny, both felonies.

Her attorney, Frederick E. Paddock, Gouverneur, said his client was prepared to pay $9,154 in restitution.
Besides the $3,075 check, an audit released by the state comptrollers office in June claimed an additional $21,000 in checks written during Ms. Dimocks time as supervisor couldnt be accounted for. She resigned from the supervisors position in September 2010, nine months after being elected.
