CAPE VINCENT — Mr. and Mrs. Ralph B. “Bud” Dwyer Jr., Aubrey Court Apartments, Bay Street, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Sept. 19 with a family dinner at 1025 Ruyi Japanese Steak House, Watertown.

Mr. Dwyer, son of the late Ralph B. and Blanche A. Dwyer, and Virginia R. Morrison, daughter of the late Elmer H. and Ethel M. Morrison, were married Sept. 19, 1947, at the Baptist Church parsonage in Carthage with the Rev. Howard Griswold officiating. Honor attendants were Grace Morrison Campany, Belleview, Fla., sister of the bride, and Leslie Palmer, Ocala, Fla., and Three Mile Bay.

Mrs. Dwyer graduated from Lowville Free Academy.

Mr. Dwyer graduated from Clayton Central School.

Mr. and Mrs. Dwyer retired from Sheraton Country Inn, Ocala, Fla., Both enjoy puzzles, NASCAR and activities with family and friends.

The couple has a daughter, Pamela Massia (J. Neil Mason), Cape Vincent; a son, Tom (Char), Clayton; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
