Justin MacDonald scored his second goal of the game two minutes, five seconds into overtime to help the Thousand Islands Privateers rally past the Danville Dashers for a 4-3 Federal Hockey League win Friday night at the Watertown Municipal Arena.
Peter Campbell assisted on all four goals for Thousand Islands (7-4). Peter Dundovich made 40 saves for his first win of the year in goal.
The Privateers got out of the gate fast with two first-period goals, from MacDonald and Adam McAllister.
Danville (2-7) tied it up in the second with a pair of goals before Justin Julianos shorthanded goal 5:18 into the third period put the Dashers ahead 3-2.
Chris Greene scored the game-tying goal with 4:28 left in regulation.
Thousands Islands travels to Danbury for a game against the Whalers at 7:35 p.m. tonight.
