BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Massena-based state police picked up Kurtis P. Moore, 20, of 43 Martin St., Massena, Tuesday afternoon on a bench warrant for an alleged violation of his release under the supervision of the probation department’s supervision. Probation officials alleged he had failed to successfully complete a treatment program. He was arraigned on the probation violation by St. Lawrence County Court Judge Jerome J. Richards and his release under probation supervision was continued with the stipulation he abide by a 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew.

Moore had pleaded guilty in late October to a third-degree burglary count in St. Lawrence County Court. He admitted he had illegally entered the Massena Country Club in the town of Louisville in September 2011.

Judge Richards had directed the probation department to conduct a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Feb. 19, 2012. Moore’s release under the supervision of the probation department was continued at the time he entered his plea.
