TAMPERING WITH WITNESS - MASSENA - Village police charged Emily A. Snyder, 20, of 12 Perkins Road, Massena, with tampering with a witness late Tuesday afternoon.
She allegedly texted Victoria Murray and told her she better recant the statements that led to Snyders arrest on second-degree harassment and public lewdness counts.
Village police had charged Snyderwith second-degree harassment and public lewdness at 5:47 p.m. Oct. 2. She allegedly sent Ms. Murray a text message asking her to fight another female. When Ms. Murray declined the fight request, Snyder reportedly threw eggs at her residence and flashed her buttocks at her.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS - MASSENA - Village police charged Tyler E. Provost, 17, of 66 Spruce St., Massena, and a 15-year-old female with second-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday at a vacant structure at 113 Woodlawn Ave. Police said the couple pushed open a door to enter the building. Provost was released on an appearance ticket, and the juvenile will have her case turned over to the probation department to determine if she will be petitioned to St. Lawrence County Family Court.
