Privateers score five goals in second period to down Outlaws

The Thousand Islands Privateers struck for five goals in the second period as they routed the Williamsport Outlaws, 8-3, in a Federal Hockey League game at the Watertown Municipal Ice Arena on Wednesday night.

Adam McAllister and Chris Greene each scored a pair of goals for Thousand Islands (8-6). Carter Trevisani and Justin MacDonald both had four-point nights. Matt Anthony made 31 saves in net.

Robert Sich generated a goal and an assist for Williamsport (5-10). Former Privateer Jeff Winchester tallied a power-play goal.

The Outlaws had blanked the Privateers 3-0 on Tuesday night.

Thousand Islands hosts the Cape Cod Bluefins tonight at the Watertown Municipal Ice Arena at 7:35 p.m.
