In regard to Eric Wrights letter about shutting the county offices at 2 p.m. for the Big Storm we were supposed to have, I wonder if it was the same one who made the decision to dismiss the schools early and delay the classes by two hours the next day. It would have made more sense to close the schools for the two days and extend the school year another two days. Just think of the money that was wasted by running the buses over the road at $4 a gallon.
We hear no more crying that our children are the ones who are going to suffer. The system does not care about the people who are paying their wages, all they want us to do is keep digging in our wallets.
