BURGLARY - MOIRA - Malone-based state police charged Michael C. Brown, 24, of Brushton with second-degree burglary Friday afternoon following an investigation into a larceny from a dwelling reported ag 4:41 p.m. June 12 from the town of Moira. Brown was arraigned in local court and sent to the Franklin County Jail.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Calvin J. Maxfield, 32, of Massena with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 11:45 a.m. Friday on state Route 420 in the town of Norfolk. He was also ticketed for speeding.

AGGRAVATED DWI - PIERREPONT - Canton-based state police charged Kevin J. Jones, 51, of Lafayette with aggravated driving while intoxicated following an incident at 9:30 p.m. Friday on state Route 56 in the town of Pierrepont.

PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Katie L. Monroe, 22, of Norfolk with petit larceny following an incident at 2:45 a.m. Friday in the town of Potsdam.

GRAND LARCENY - BEEKMANTOWN - Chazy-based state police charged Alan W. Phipps, 31, of Brushton with fourth-degree grand larceny Thursday stemming from an investigation into an incident reported Oct. 17 from the town of Beekmantown. Bail was set at $1,500 cash.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police from Troop B investigation a number of property damage accidents around the region over the holiday weekend. Among those were:

■ James A. Trimm, 47, of Colton at 9:12 p.m. Friday on County Route 59, near Sweeney Road, in the town of Potsdam.

■ Harold L. Loomis,58, of Norwood at 5:11 p.m. Friday on state Route 56, near Tri-County Lane, in the town of Potsdam.

■ Julianne T. Sovie, 18, of Lisbon at 8:49 p.m. Thursday on Brady Road, near state Route 345, in the town of Madrid.

■ Michelle M. Earl, 45, of Brushton at 10:47 p.m. Thursday on County Route 17, near Barrett Road, in the town of Moira.
