Lowville village police charged an 11-year-old student of Lowville Academy and Central School with second-degree menacing and reckless endangerment about 2:30 p.m. Nov. 12 after receiving a complaint that the student was out of control.
Police said the student allegedly held and threatened to throw a chair at a teacher and stabbed another teacher in the shoulder with a pencil.
The student was issued appearance tickets to the Lewis County Probation Department.
