WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. Robert Sich totaled five points, including four goals, as the Williamsport Outlaws routed the Thousand Islands Privateers, 8-1, on Saturday in a Federal Hockey League game at the Outlaws outdoor rink at Bowman Field.
Chris Leveille contributed two goals and an assist for Williamsport (8-9), which evened the season series with the Privateers (9-7) at 3-3.
Nathan Oke chipped in with four assists for the Outlaws, who broke the game open with four unanswered goals in the second period to build a 6-0 lead. Outlaws goalie Chris Whitley stopped 44 of 45 shots.
The Privateers averted the shutout when Adam McAllister scored a power-play goal in the third.Matt Anthony (16 saves) allowed five goals before he was replaced in the second by Peter Dundovich (15 saves).
Thousand Islands will host the Danville Dashers at 7:35 p.m. next Friday and Saturday.
