Deputies claim Madrid man fired gun in house

MADRID — Gregory C. Price, 38, of 1610 Route 345, was charged by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies Saturday with reckless endangerment.

During a domestic dispute, Mr. Price fired a pistol in the presence of others inside a house, deputies said.

No further details of the incident were made available.

He is scheduled to appear in Madrid Town Court.

Police say city woman let teenager smoke pot

Jolene R. Juiliani, 36, of 819 Bingham Ave., surrendered to city police Saturday to be charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

She faces prosecution in City Court on allegations that on the night of Oct. 16 at her residence, she allowed a 15-year-old boy to smoke marijuana in her presence, according to police.

Man accused of taking iPhone after argument

EVANS MILLS — Bryan C. Smith, 26, of 26797 Libby Lane, was charged Saturday night by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department with petit larceny and harassment as a result of a domestic fight.

He was turned over to Fort Drum authorities and is ordered to appear in town of LeRay Court.

Mr. Smith is accused of pushing and grabbing Acura T. Harvey, 23, in his residence about 5:15 p.m. Saturday, and then leaving the apartment while taking her iPhone, according to deputies.

Harrisville man charged in $400 grocery theft

Jesse R. Weaver, 23, of 7491 Cassi Circle, Harrisville, was charged Friday by state police with petit larceny in the alleged shoplifting of groceries Nov. 1 at the Hannaford supermarket, outer Arsenal Street.

The theft tab was set at about $400.

He is ordered to appear in town of Watertown Court.

Police said a second arrest in the incident is anticipated.

Watertown woman cited in shoplifting incident

Nicole L. Scott, 24, of 300 Cedar St., was charged by Watertown police Friday night with petit larceny at T.J. Maxx, 1283 Arsenal St.

She awaits prosecution in City Court on allegations that she shoplifted various items with a total sales value of $185.83, according to police.

Police say city woman shoplifted at Walmart

Susan C. Monroe, 54, of 1005 Bronson St., was charged Saturday by state police with petit larceny in connection with an alleged shoplifting incident Nov. 19 at the Walmart Supercenter, outer Arsenal Street.

She is accused of stealing children’s toys and clothing merchandise priced at a total of $201.57, police said. She is summoned for arraignment in Watertown Town Court.

LaFargeville man faces bad check accusations

LAFARGEVILLE — Timothy S. Carpenter, 48, of 39977 County Route 13, is ordered by state police to appear in town of Orleans Court to answer a charge of issuing a bad check.

Police said he is accused of bouncing a check for $86.19 at LaFargeville Market.
