Clarkson (2-5-5 overall, 2-1-1 ECAC Hockey) plays what is traditionally its toughest road trip of the season this weekend when it travels to face Cornell (4-3-1, 1-3-2) and Colgate (6-6-2, 2-3-1). Also upcoming for the Golden Knights is a road game next Wednesday against rival St. Lawrence University (6-4-2, 0-2-2) at Appleton Arena.
Clarkson has gone 1-3-1 over the last five years at Lynah Rink and the Golden Knights are 0-3-2 over the last five years at Colgate.
Clarkson coach Casey Jones

One of Clarkson's top forwards this season has been freshman Pat Megannety, who ranks second on the team in goals with five and is tied for third in scoring with seven points.

Another freshman who has been productive for Clarkson is goalie Greg Lewis, who is 2-4-4 with a 2.85 goals-against average and an .897 save percentage.

Another underclassman who has been a leader for Clarkson is sophomore defenseman James Howden, who has two goals and two assists, is tied for the team lead at plus-six and has just eight penalty minutes in 12 games.

Here's a glimpse of Clarkson practicing Wednesday. The Golden Knights have some of their injured players back, as Jones mentioned above. Only Ben Sexton, Adam Pawlick and Mike Garlasco were missing from practice Wednesday.

NOTE: Because of the SLU game next Wednesday there will be no Clarkson Video Report next week, but there will be a video recap of the game shortly after it's conclusion.
