President Obama won the election with a popular vote totaling 62,610,717 compared to Mitt Romneys total popular vote of 59,136,717, a difference of 3,473,402. It was not a landslide; it was a close race, considering that the U,S. population is 311,591,917 (July 2011). Even giving out Obamaphones did not help President Obama win by a landslide.
Yes, President Obama did win by 51 percent (and even that is questionable), but 48 percent of the American people voted for Mitt Romney. If President Obama really cared about the American people, he would also be reaching out to the 48 percent who voted for change. The real losers in this election are all the unborn babies who are murdered every day because of President Obamas policies. The rest of us can fend for ourselves.
During Obamas victory speech in Chicago, he stated Americans want our children to live in an America that isnt threatened by the destructive power of a warming planet. I want to say that as an American I am not as worried about global warming as I am about the direction our country is heading. I want my children to live in an America that is still free and not ruled under tyranny. In a press conference, he again blamed the economy on former President Bush.
I find this statement to be amusing as we head into another year of a trillion-dollar deficit under President Obamas watch. The election results were disheartening, but we will survive another four years of this administration. I truly believe that the American people, no matter what party they are registered with, will stand up and be heard when they realize that our freedom and rights are slowly being taken away from us.
I find it incredible how corrupt and biased the United States media are today. It is obvious that our media are one-sided and they should be ashamed of themselves, but then again, that is what liberalism is all about. As I said before, we do not need the government to own us. We need to own the government, and it should be working for us. When I say we and us, I am talking about all the American people. Keep the faith and God Bless America. Liberty and Justice for all, born or unborn.
