POTSDAM Mark Lake Jr. scored 23 points to lead the SUNY Potsdam mens basketball team to a 77-65 win over village rival Clarkson in a nonconference game at Maxcy Hall on Tuesday night.
Rob Duquette scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Bears (1-2 overall).
Colin Peterson scored 13 points and Curtis Pierce tossed in 11 for SUNY Potsdam.
Jerry Coleman led Clarkson (3-1) with 22 points. Marques Charlton scored 16 and Felix Abongo added 13 for the Golden Knights.
SUNY Plattsburgh 84, ST. LAWRENCE 68
Kalik Parker scored 15 points to lead the Cardinals past St. Lawrence University in a nonconference contest in Canton.
Shamoy McIntosh scored 12 points for SUNY Plattsburgh (3-1). Chris Manning and John Perez each tallied 11 points.
Kyle Miller led the Saints (0-3) with 14 points and Tell White had 12.
NORTH COUNTRY CC 77, JEFFERSON CC 70
Steve Carder generated a game-high 38 points as the Saints held off the Cannoneers for a Region 3 win in Watertown.
Carder also grabbed eight rebounds for North Country CC (7-1, 5-1). Former Chateaugay product Michael Boyea added 10 points.
Ryan Tomlin paced Jefferson CC (4-4, 2-2) with 20 points, including four 3-pointers. Derrick Williams chipped in with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds.

CLARKSON 72, SUNY POTSDAM 58
Leighann Tomita scored 17 points to lead the Golden Knights (1-3) past SUNY Potsdam in a nonconference contest at Maxcy Hall.
Jovanna Snead scored 14 points and Ashley Loggins tossed in 12 for Clarkson. Brooke Butkovsky snagged 10 rebounds for Clarkson.
Katy Briedis led the Bears (1-4) with 28 points and Jessica Kouzan scored 11.
SUNY PLATTSBURGH 71,
ST. LAWRENCE 49
Kathleen Payne scored 19 points to lead the Cardinals (2-1) past St. Lawrence in a nonconference game in Canton.
Brooke Reifinger scored 11 points for SUNY Plattsburgh. Former Malone standout Brittany Marshall and Devona Paul each added 10 points for the Cardinals.
Kara McDuffee scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Saints (1-2).
SUNY Canton 72, SUNY COBLESKILL 68 (2 OT)
Joelle Percy scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Kangaroos (3-2) defeated host SUNY Cobleskill in double overtime in a nonconference game.
SUNY Canton trailed 28-20 at halftime but used a 33-25 second half to tie the game.
Alicia Uhlein scored 12 points for the Kangaroos. Kaitlin Myers scored 11 points with 13 rebounds and Karyss Terrance added 10 points and 11 rebounds for SUNY Canton.
Carolina Concepcion led SUNY Cobleskill (1-2) with 23 points. Kady Porterfield scored 17 and Alexis Hauser had 14.

Emily Lapage finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead North Country CC (3-3) to a Region 3 win over host JCC.
Morgan Kiernan gave the Cannoneers (1-6) with 10 points and nine rebounds. Jasmine Canady and Tapulei Vaveao added 12 points apiece.
