A directory of emergency shelter services in St. Lawrence County is now available on the county’s website, www.stlawco.org.

The directory lists services available to those who become homeless because of an emergency or disaster, or are living with an unsafe condition, such as a faulty heating system.

Some of the assistance available includes hotel stays for one or two nights, security deposits and first month’s rent. These services are available countywide, but may include eligibility requirements.
