Two men face allegations that they used a stolen debit card to make purchases at two Arsenal Street fast-food restaurants.
Paul C. Boggs, 20, of 62598 Boyer Circle, Evans Mills, and Jason R. Rodriguez, 21, of 10644 5th Armored Division Drive, Fort Drum, were charged by Watertown police Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree identity theft.
It is alleged that on Oct. 6, they used a debit card stolen from Sarah E. Simpson, 148 Charles St., to make purchases totaling $74.18 at the businesses.
Mr. Boggs also is charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property for allegedly having a purse and its contents stolen from Jennifer L. Coleman, 666 Bronson St., on the same day. Both men are due to answer the charges in City Court.
