Watertown native Chris Greene has been called up by the Denver Cutthroats of the Central Hockey League.
Greene, who grew up in Massena, posted 26 points, including 12 goals, in 16 games as an assistant coach/player with the Thousand Islands Privateers this season in the Federal Hockey League.
In his ninth pro season as a forward, Greene has skated in the CHL in five previous seasons with the Arizona Sundogs, Wichita Thunder and Corpus Christi Icerays.
The Privateers host the Danbury Whalers at 7:35 tonight and Saturday night at Watertown Municipal Arena.
