NORFOLK A Norfolk man was charged by state police Thursday with having a number of guns and other items from a burglary reported in August.
Jason P. Morgan, 29, of 165 Mill Road, was accused of having at least seven firearms and a number of other goods reported stolen from a residence on County Route 39 in the town of Norfolk.
He was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He also was charged with destroying a weapon.
Police said Mr. Morgan defaced the serial number on one of the firearms.
He was arraigned in Town Court and ordered held in St. Lawrence County jail, Canton.
