Scott Vincent LaPointe, 52, of Lilburn, Georgia, formerly of Massena, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012, after courageously battling cancer.

The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1150 Cole Rd, Lilburn GA 30047. Bishop Peter Baron will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service and from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons, Decatur, GA 404-292-1551.
