What kind of nation have we become? As a state senator in Illinois, our current president said it was permissible to withhold care and nutrition from a baby born alive in an attempted abortion. Senator Obama was proud of the position he took, which allowed hospital personnel to place the baby on a table and allow the baby to die.
When Sen. John McCain brought this up in the 2007 debates, Mr. Obama denied it. Why did the media cover this up? What kind of person would take such a position? More importantly, what kind of country would elect such a man twice?
In 2007 Mr. Obama was asked what he would do if one of his daughters became pregnant. He said, I wouldnt want them punished with a baby.
I am the mother of 10 children. I was not punished. I was blessed. My husband and I raised our children to be decent, caring citizens, who also pay their taxes.
What kind of country have we become that we value free contraception, cellphones and Big Bird more than we value a human life?
St. Paul said, Do not be conquered by evil but conquer evil with good. Romans 12:21.
I fear for the next generation. Parents, teach your children well.
