City police arrested Casey A. Moore, 20, of 829 Water St., at 8:07 p.m. Saturday on a charge of fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Mr. Moore is accused of puncturing the side wall of the left front tire of a 1997 Dodge belonging to Rachel R. Smith, North Syracuse, with a knife. The tire was worth $50, police said.

He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where he was held pending arraignment in City Court.
