LOWVILLE Village police last week charged a Lowville man in connection with an alleged gas drive-off about a month ago at Stewarts Shop, 7491 S. State St., according to a release issued Sunday.
Thomas E. Williams Jr., 28, was charged Nov. 27 with petit larceny, answerable in Village Court.
He was accused of leaving the convenience store at 5:30 a.m. Nov. 5 without paying for an unspecified amount of gasoline.
Police said they continue to investigate several other gas drive-offs from Stewarts.
