FORT DRUM — The Fort Drum Connector will be opened to traffic during the morning on Thursday, according to a release from the State Department of Transportation. The route is scheduled to be fully open by the end of the day.

The department, in a press release, said motorists are reminded to exercise caution in the area, as the new route also means new travel patterns.
