HEUVELTON Lexi Weidner scored eight of her 12 points in the third quarter as the Heuvelton girls basketball team rallied from a deficit to defeat Hermon-DeKalb 51-47 in a Northern Athletic Conference West Division game Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs (2-1 overall, 2-0 division) trailed 27-17 at halftime, but outscored Hermon-DeKalb 23-12 in the third quarter to take a 30-29 lead.
Courtney Harrington scored 13 points for the Demons (1-1) and grabbed eight rebounds. Clarissa Davis scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
CLIFTON-FINE 65, LISBON 45
Hunter Hitchman scored 32 points, with 18 coming on 3-point baskets, to lead Clifton-Fine (1-0) in a West Division game in Lisbon.
Morgan Sheldon scored 11 points and grabbed 18 rebounds and blocked seven shots for Clifton-Fine. Delaney Kerry added 15 rebounds for the Eagles.
Emily Dishaw led Lisbon (1-2, 0-2) with 17 points. Beth Crowley snagged 17 rebounds and Jackie Sovie had 10 rebounds for the Golden Knights.
HAMMOND 78, MORRISTOWN 5
The Red Devils led 40-0 at halftime as it cruised to a West Division win over the Green Rockets (0-3, 0-1) in Morristown.
Alyssa Crosby led Hammond (2-0, 1-0) with 26 points and Hailey Ogden tallied 13. Courtney Bova and Makayla Horton both scored 11 points.
COLTON-PIERREPONT 39, ST. REGIS FALLS 22
Morgan Doyle scored 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lift the Colts (2-2, 1-0) past the Saints in an East Division game in Colton.
Kylie McKinley scored eight points with nine rebounds and seven steals for Colton-Pierrepont. Kiana Stowell led the Saints (0-1) with seven points.
MADRID-WADDINGTON 38, BRUSHTON-MOIRA 29
Tess Knight scored 12 points and had seven steals to lead the Yellow Jackets (3-0, 1-0) past the Panthers in a North Division game in Madrid.
Olivia Parmeter scored 11 points and Katie Marcellus had eight points and nine rebounds for Madrid-Waddington. The Panthers fell to 0-1.
TUPPER LAKE 37, NORWOOD-NORFOLK 24
Katie Stuart scored 23 points, grabbed seven rebounds and added five steals to lead the Lumberjacks (1-2, 1-0) past the Flyers in a North Division game in Tupper Lake. Carlea Weaver and Katie Ames each scored eight points for the Flyers (0-1).
MALONE 52, POTSDAM 50 (OT)
Janelle Heden led Malone (1-0) with 16 points in an overtime win over Potsdam in a Central Division game in Potsdam.
Meghan OConnor and Rachel Lamica each scored 11 points for the Huskies. Sarah Vivlamore led Potsdam (0-2, 0-1) with 27 points and Shanielle Chambers added 17.
OFA 43, GOUVERNEUR 29
Susie Morrows 13-point effort helped OFA (1-1, 1-0) knock off Gouverneur in a Central Division game in Gouverneur.
Felicia Barr scored 10 points for OFA. Kirstin Roberts led the Wildcats (2-1, 0-1) with 10.
CANTON 61, SALMON RIVER 44
Emily Rexford scored 29 points to help the Golden Bears (2-0, 1-0) defeat the Shamrocks in a Central Division game in Canton.
Kali Frank added nine points for Canton. Kwiio King led the Shamrocks (1-1, 0-1) with 17 points and eight rebounds, and Abby Kelly scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
