BENCH WARRANTS - POTSDAM - The Potsdam Police Department has arrest warrants for the following people:

Christopher/Christian A. Rankin, 48, of Rochester.

Ronald M. Regnier, 40, of Cornwall, Ont.

Marty S. Roberts, 50, of Potsdam.

Christopher G. Russell, 31, of Bombay.

AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Peggy S. Aidun, 45, of Potsdam with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed her for making a prohibited U-turn following a traffic stop at 2:32 p.m. Wednesday.

1038 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to a call.

1040 Resident stopped in to police station to report ongoing issue with parking violations on College Park Drive.Patrols will be stepping up enforcement.

1145 Funeral escort requested and provided.

1230 Wallet found in Super Suds Laundromat and turned in to the police station. Wallet returned to owner.

1308 Person with disability parking permit issued to Norwood resident.

1327 Person with disability parking permit issued to Canton resident.

1348 Unregistered vehicle in violation of parking 10a.m. -6p.m. in the Raymond Street lot impounded.

1430 Parent contacts police department to report her son was stabbed in the neck with a pencil at the Potsdam High School earlier today.

1432 Traffic stop. Ticket issued.

Peggy S. Aidun, 45 of Potsdam, was issued an appearance ticket for prohibited U-turn and a traffic summons for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd.

1503 Clarkson University student requested VIN verification on her car for DMV.

1508 Potsdam State University student reports his Play Station 2 was stolen from his apartment on Monday.

1545 Vehicle impounded at Meadow East Apartments for parking violation.

1557 Complainant reports he lost his cell phone last Saturday night vicinity of Cedar and Main streets.

1559 Patrol dispatched to property damage accident in the Big Lot’s parking lot.

1853 Traffic stop on Elm Street - verbal warning issued for failure to obey traffic control device.
