Germany enjoyed the only 2-0 start in the Ogdensburg and Girls Clubs Senior Indoor Soccer League.
Germany 7 - Spain 1: Germany was powered by Matt Piercey 4 goals and Zach Roberts and Courtney Sherwin who each tallied one. Nate King scored the loan goal for Spain and Peyton Lalone and Braeden Free played well on the defensive side.
Russia 4 - USA 3: Alex Mankes goal with 17 seconds remaining gave Russia the hard fought win. Andrew Guimond and Mitchell Brenno also scored for Russia. USAs offense was led by Dillion Binion, Chris Meashaw and Kiera Johnson.
Spain 8 USA 5: Peyton Lalones six goals led Spain to its first win of the young season and Nate King netted two goals. USA received goals from Kiera Johnson, Amanda Self, Mikayla Mills, Natalie McCormick and Alex Meashaw.
Germany 8 Russia 4: Matt Piercey led the way for the Germans with five goals and Zack Roberts and Kelsey Sherwin contributed goals. Russias offense featured two goals from Jake Sharpe and single tallies from Claire Rishe and Alissa Shaver.
