MALONE The Ogdensburg Free Academy boys basketball team may have lost more than a game on Friday night as senior Cavan LaRose re-injured a left knee that caused him to miss the whole season last year in the first quarter of a 57-48 loss to Malone in an Northern Athletic Conference Central Division game.
LaRose, one of three OFA captains, had his knee surgically rebuilt a year ago. It it not known how severe the injury is.
Mitch Gallagher and Jon Dunlavey each led Malone (4-0 overall, 2-0 division) with 19 points and Nate Monette added 13.
Breton LaRose, Cavans twin, led OFA (3-1, 1-1) with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Pat Cosmo scored 11 points and Kinnon LaRose added 10 rebounds.
MASSENA 67, CANTON 38
Massena built a 24-4 lead after one quarter and went on to defeat the Golden Bears (1-1) in a Central Division contest in Canton.
Joe LaBelle led a balanced offense for the Red Raiders (1-0) with 16 points, including four 3-pointers, while Zack Rusaw tossed through another 15 points. Tyler Haas added 10 points.
Evan LaPoint had 11 points for Canton and Eddie Bortnick added 10.
MADRID-WADDINGTON 81, NORWOOd-NORFOLK 24
Maurice Rease scored 12 points as Madrid-Waddington (3-1, 2-1) defeated the Flyers in a North Division game in Norwood.
Richard Wright scored 11 points and Jacob Barney added 10 for the Yellow Jackets. Kyle Martens led the Flyers (0-4, 0-3) with five points.
HARRISVILLE 70, GOUVERNEUR 48
Nate Weaver produced 20 points and nine rebounds as the Pirates (2-1) won a semifinal game of their own tournament against Gouverneur.
Joey Butts scored 19 points and made six steals for the Pirates. Devin Cox led Gouverneur (1-2) with 17 points.

Tori Daley scored 16 points as Canton (3-0, 2-0) scored 45 points in the second half to defeat the Red Raiders in a Central Division game in Massena.
Katie Christy, Emily Rexford and Emily Pinckney each scored 12 points for Canton.
Marissa Manley led Massena (1-1, 0-1) with 23 points and 14 rebounds.

Riley Luckie scored 13 points and Susie Morrow provided 12 points and seven rebounds as the Blue Devils (2-1, 2-0) defeated Malone in a Central Division contest in Ogdensburg.
Morgan Fountain led Malone (1-1) with an 11-point effort and Janelle Hedden and Rachel Lamica each scored 10 points for the Huskies.
SALMON RIVER 56, GOUVERNEUR 41
Abby Kelly finished with 32 points and 11 rebounds as Salmon River (1-1) defeated the Wildcats in a Central Division game in Fort Covington.
Jaiden Mitchell added 10 points for Salmon River.
Danielle McCormick led Gouverneur (2-2, 0-2) with 11 points and Rachel Knowlton tossed in 10.

Olivia Parmeter outscored the Flyers by herself, finishing with 20 points as Madrid-Waddington (4-0, 2-0) earned a North Division win in Norwood.

Bridget Rust and Clarissa Davis each scored 14 points to lead the Demons past Morristown (0-4, 0-2) in a West Division contest in DeKalb Junction.

Kasey ODonnell made eight steals and had seven assists.

Lisbon (2-2, 1-2) outscored the Cougars 16-4 in the third quarter to overcome a four-point halftime deficit in a West Division game in Edwards.
Jackie Sovie scored 12 points, grabbed nine rebounds and made nine steals to lead the Golden Knights.
Emily Dishaw scored 10 points for Lisbon.
Katie Smith led the Cougars (0-4, 0-2) with 16 points and Jadilynn Bullock added 10.

Patrick Manning and Tyler Young each scored two goals with one assist as the Red Raiders routed Tupper Lake (0-3) in an interdivision game at Massena.
Anthony Cortese scored one goal with two assists and Dalton Mullin, J.P. Reagan and Zachary Robert each had one goal and one assist for the Red Raiders (1-2, 1-0).

Logan Ford scored two goals as Potsdam (1-0) defeated Bethlehem in the Potsdam Tournament. Canton (1-1) defeated Guilderland 4-1 in the other game but no information was provided.
