CANTON — National Grid has scheduled power outages that will take place Saturday and Tuesday.

The first, scheduled from 5 to 8 a.m., will affect customers on the eastern side of the village, including University Plaza, Kinney Drugs, Key Bank, Canton Manor Housing, the Human Services building and the railroad crossing lights. If weather causes a delay, the power interruption will occur during the same time frame Sunday.

The Tuesday interruption will affect customers along Route 310 from Route 11 north to Judson Street and within a half-mile radius of Route 310 in either direction. About 80 customers will be affected by the outage scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to noon. In the event of inclement weather, the outage will take place at the same time the following day.
