STOCKHOLM — Zachariah L. Richards, 28, of 3223 Route 11B, was charged by state police with criminal possession of stolen property at 5:01 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Richards is accused of stealing the metal chimney pipe from his home, which he rents, causing damage to the bricks surrounding the chimney and leaving trash on the property. He was intending to sell the chimney pipe, state police said.
