MASSENA — Tayna L. Barksdale, 26, of 109 Main St., was charged Saturday by village police with petit larceny.

Ms. Barksdale is accused of trying to steal hair products, children’s clothing and other merchandise from Walmart, 43 Stephenville St.

She is scheduled to appear in Massena Village Court.
