EVANS MILLS State police on Friday charged Jack Jackson, 22, of Fort Drum, with fifth-degree possession of stolen property in connection with thefts at a storage unit facility discovered in October.
Police, who did not have information available on what items he possessed, said Mr. Jackson was given an appearance ticket for LeRay Town Court.
He is the third suspect identified in the robbery at U Lock It Storage, 26842 Holbrook Road. Richard E. Reinhardt II, 22, and Dominic M. Walters, 22, both of Fort Drum, were each charged with third-degree burglary in November. Among the items allegedly taken from the storage unit, rented out by Nicholas A. Lichner, Fort Drum, were a bolt-action rifle, a scoped semiautomatic rifle, a shotgun, a 2009 all-terrain vehicle, an ATV helmet and a socket set.
