Woman accused of three separate thefts


A Watertown woman was charged Friday night by state police in three separate petit larceny cases.

According to police, Stepheny J. Fox, 26, of 373 W. Main St., was held in connection with a Nov. 1 shoplifting of about $400 in items, mostly meats, from Hannaford Superstore, outer Arsenal Street. Jesse R. Weaver, 23, of 7491 Cassi Circle, Harrisville, was charged in November.

Ms. Fox also was charged in connection with two other shoplifting cases. Police said that on Tuesday she took a 46-inch television, valued at $634.30, from the Walmart Supercenter in LeRay. Additionally, she was accused Friday of taking more than $650 in electronics and bedding from the Walmart Supercenter on Route 3 in the town of Watertown.

Arrested about 7 p.m. Friday, in Pamelia she was given appearance tickets for Watertown and LeRay town courts.
