BRASHER FALLS Lukas Arquiett scored two goals in the second period to help St. Lawrence Central to a 3-2 victory over Massena in a Northern Athletic Conference interdivision hockey game Wednesday.
It was the first win over Massena for the Larries (2-1 overall, 1-1 division) since 2004.
Arquiett gave the Larries a 3-1 advantage after Tyler Sims tied the game for Massena (4-3, 2-1) earlier in the period.
Nate Stickney also scored for St. Lawrence. Patrick Manning scored a shorthanded goal for Massena.
SALMON RIVER 3, MALONE 3 (OT)
Kyle Lewis scored with 29 seconds left in the third period to give the Shamrocks (1-4-1, 0-1-1) a tie in an interdivision game in Fort Covington.
Malone (4-0-1, 3-0-1) used goals from Tanner Studlack and Bailey Conklin in the third period to take a 3-2 lead.
Kyle Green and Jarid Gray scored for the Shamrocks.
