WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The Thousand Islands Privateers game at Williamsport was called after one period because of inclement weather on Thursday night at the Outlaws’ outdoor rink.

The Federal Hockey League game was halted with Williamsport leading 1-0 through one period at Bowman Field, the Outlaws’ outdoor rink at Williamsport’s minor-league baseball stadium.

Thousand Islands continues its road trip at the Dayton Demonz at 7:35 both tonight and Saturday night before returning home to host the Danville Dashers at 7:35 on Thursday night.

Privateers goalie Matt Anthony was signed to a tryout contract with the Syracuse Crunch on Tuesday, but was cut by the American Hockey League team on Thursday.
