The Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club and North Star both stayed undefeated closing out the 2012 portion of the current Franklin CYO Basketball League.
OBGC 84, Chateaugay 61: The OBGC placed five players in double figures, led by Konner Murdock with 27 points. Ryan Petell and Rudy Binion both posted a double-double; Petell with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Binion had 14 points and 10 assists. David Tomford with 11 points and Alec Manke with 10 points rounded out the scoring for the winners.
Chateaugay was led by Josh Juntunen with 36 points, followed by Zach Cook with nine, Darian Velasquez with eight, and Zach Snyder with six.
PAPAs Dairy 50, Maranatha 43: Tyrek Snead led the winners with 12 points, six steals, and 4 rebounds. Adam Beane added eight, while Wally Poupore, AJ Secore, and Tanner Barney all scored seven apiece. Maranatha was led by Codi Church with 13, followed by Matt Fish with eight. North Star 70, St. John Bosco 53: Alex Shackett led the winners with 20 points, followed by Isae Paradones with 18 and Mike LaVoie with 17. St. John Bosco was led by little Austin Gonyea with 26 points with five treys. Cameron Guerin added 17 while John Armstrong turned in a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
In Splinter action, Ogdensburg edged North Star, 32 to 28. Spencer Mayette led the winners with 17 points. Fan Favorite Missy McCarger led North Star with eight points. In the other Splinter contest, Maranatha topped Chateaugay 35 to 23. Matt Fish led the winners with 14.
