The Lake Placid Center for the Arts has announced a call for artists.

Its first fine arts gallery exhibit of 2013 will be the black and white juried art show “A Showcase of Regional Artists.”

The exhibit will be on display from Jan. 11 through Feb. 17. Artists are invited to drop off up to two works between 1 and 5 p.m. Jan. 2, 3, 4 and 5 at the center, 17 Algonquin Drive.

The entry fee is a non-refundable $25. An opening reception and awards presentation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 11.
