A Watertown man was injured in a two-vehicle collision Friday afternoon at Mill and Gale streets.
City police said James B. Plummer Jr., 20, of 120 Haven St., was traveling on Mill Street just before 5 p.m. when a vehicle operated by Claudia Schorr, 67, of 645 Thompson St., pulled from Gale Street into his path. Mrs. Schorr told police that she had stopped at a stop sign on Gale Street and had inched forward before pulling onto Mill Street, but failed to see the Plummer vehicle because of high snow banks. Mr. Plummer was taken to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment of pain in his neck, back and left hand. Mrs. Schorr, who was not injured, was charged with failing to yield the right of way.
