Kristi L. LaCount and Joseph D. Brennan, both of Watertown, announce their engagement.

Miss LaCount, daughter of William and Linda LaCount, Plattsburgh, graduated in 2006 from Saranac Lake Central School and in 2010 from SUNY Cortland, with a bachelor’s degree in childhood education. She is a second grade teacher at Carthage Central School.

Mr. Brennan, son of Randy and Melissa Brennan, Sandy Creek, graduated in 2006 from Sandy Creek Central School, in 2007 from Jefferson Community College, Watertown, and in 2010 from SUNY Cortland, with a bachelor’s degree in recreation. He is a recreational professional for Watertown Family YMCA.

A July 6 wedding at Harmony Golf Club and Community, Port Kent, is planned.
