Former St. Lawrence County Family Court Judge J. George Follett passed away on November 27th, 2012, from congestive heart failure at age 85. After serving in the Navy in WW2, Judge Follett attended Union College and Albany Law School. He was St. Lawrence County District Attorney before being elected Family Court Judge in 1967. He and his wife Kathy and family resided in Pierrepont. When he retired from the Bench in 1982, the family moved to Washington state. He is survived by Kathy, son Zachary who lives in Sammamish, WA, and two daughters, Danielle who lives in Besancon, France, and Lisa, who lives in Renton, WA.
