South Indiana Avenues Christmas decorations are a little less bright this year. Early Dec. 23 at approximately 1 a.m. to 2:30 a.m., someone stole the lighted pine cone wreath that has graced our front picture window for 29 seasons. I made this wreath in 1980 from pine cones I gathered at Madison Barracks, where we lived, and the wreath graced our door there for four seasons.
The wreath contained miniature lights, beautiful garland, Christmas floral pics, including a Christmas angel and red bow.
To the person who took my wreath, and if you might be the unwitting recipient of my beautiful wreath, please take good care of it and hopefully it will grace your window for as many years. If you can find it in your heart to return it, the address is 112 S. Indiana Ave., Watertown, NY 13601, (315) 788-5760.
