DANVILLE, Ill. — Brent Tamane scored a pair of power-play goals as the Thousand Islands Privateers beat the Danville Dashers, 5-4, to snap a four-game losing streak in a Federal Hockey League game on Friday night.

Peter Campbell had two goals and two assists for Thousand Islands (15-14), while goalie Matt Anthony made 45 saves. Kris McCarthy scored for the Privateers and William Foster handed out two assists.

Derrick Ste. Marie netted a hat trick for Danville (14-21), while Shawn McNulty tallied three assists.

The teams play against tonight at 7:05 in Danville.
